Job Description Job Title Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team at Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in patient assessment, procedural support, and post-procedure recovery, ensuring optimal patient outcomes within a fast-paced and high-tech cardiac environment. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative team dedicated to advanced cardiac care. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including EP studies, ablations, and cardiac device implants (pacemakers, ICDs). Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status throughout procedures. Administer medications, including sedatives, antiarrhythmics, and emergency drugs, as directed by the physician. Provide comprehensive pre-procedure assessment, patient education, and post-procedure recovery care. Maintain a sterile field, prepare and manage specialized EP equipment and supplies. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record. Respond effectively to emergent situations, including cardiac arrest and other complications. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care. Required Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
