Medical Assistant

Founded in 2017 by Dr. Allyson Shrikhande and Dr. Gautam Shrikhande, PRM is a physician-led healthcare company dedicated to transforming care for patients suffering from persistent pelvic paina condition that affects 15% of women and 10% of men, yet remains widely misunderstood and untreated. With a team united by purpose and compassion, PRM has grown to 14 locations across 10 states, treating over 15,000 patients annually. From front office staff to physicians, everyone at PRM is committed to listening to patients, validating their experiences, and delivering expert care.

At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms. Our priority is providing access to care and treatment in all aspects by listening to our patients, validating their experiences, and treating the source of their pain.

How You'll Contribute

  • Greet and check in patients; manage front desk and patient flow throughout the day
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures, including ultrasound-guided treatments
  • Record vitals, update medical histories, and accurately document in the EMR
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
  • Collect payments at time of service and deliver financial packets as instructed by Treatment Plan Coordinators or the financial team
  • Verify insurance eligibility and ensure all paperwork is properly completed
  • Maintain clinical and front office supplies; ensure all rooms are clean and well-stocked
  • Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all internal protocols
  • Handle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretion
  • Support internal coordination between clinical and administrative teams
  • Participate in team trainings and ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned by the department lead/manager

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
  • High School Diploma or GED or Associate degree
  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and trained to assist with patient transfers and support
  • Able to stand or sit for long durations of time
  • Strong computer skills with EMRs, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
