This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized care on a 30-bed unit focused on Telemetry, Orthopedic, and Neurological patient populations. You will play a crucial role in patient monitoring, assessment, and care delivery within a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced setting, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. You will manage a patient load typically ranging from 1:5 to 1:6, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a Telemetry, Orthopedic, and Neurological unit. Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. Perform detailed neurological and orthopedic assessments. Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely using the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system. Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a caring, professional demeanor with patients, families, and staff. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Demonstrated experience in Telemetry, Orthopedics, or Neurology. Proficiency in EKG interpretation. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience utilizing the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
