Job Summary (Physical Therapist School-Based, Part-Time)
- Part-time position (20 hours/week, flexible scheduling) from August to May
- Develops treatment plans and interventions to meet individualized student objectives and ensure regulatory compliance
- Screens students to determine need for further assessment
- Consults with teachers, parents, staff, and outside professionals to provide information, develop service plans, and make referrals
- Facilitates and/or attends meetings (IEP/MET/Team conferences, parent meetings, etc.) regarding student goals
- Assesses students for eligibility and IEP (Individualized Education Program) needs
- Experience in classroom integration and school-based PT preferred
- Requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a positive, perseverant attitude
- Must have Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, Master's Degree or higher, and valid AZ PT license
- Preferred experience/training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Compensation: $55 $65/hour (based on experience); licensing assistance available
