Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist Job Summary This role is for an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in Cardiac Catheterization (Cath Lab) procedures. The technologist will work within an acute care setting in Chino, California, supporting interventional cardiology and radiology services. Responsibilities include operating advanced imaging equipment, assisting physicians during complex procedures, and ensuring optimal patient care and safety throughout diagnostic and interventional cases. Key Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic and other specialized imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures. Assist cardiologists and interventional radiologists with sterile technique, patient positioning, and equipment management during procedures. Prepare the procedure room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available. Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout procedures, promptly reporting any changes to the medical team. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, imaging parameters, and patient information. Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self. Required Qualifications Current ARRT (R) certification. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA). Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA). Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab or Interventional Radiology setting. Active California Fluoroscopy Permit. Preferred Qualifications Not specified. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in operating fluoroscopic and angiography equipment. Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control practices. Excellent patient positioning and imaging skills. Comprehensive knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
