A Day in the RoleYou begin by reviewing engineering drawings and GD&T callouts for the day’s builds. First articles roll in and you verify critical features with calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, and other metrology tools. Mid‑shift, you move to the CMM to run dimensional programs that confirm complex geometries, then document findings and flag any nonconformances. Throughout the day, you collaborate with production and engineering, support corrective actions, and keep inspection equipment calibrated and audit‑ready under our ISO 9001 system.
