New Visions Communications is a locally operated telecommunications company building and maintaining an extensive fiber-optic network throughout Central New York.
We are hiring an experienced, hands-on Fiber Optic Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot internet, voice, Wi-Fi, and related services in customers’ homes and businesses.
This is primarily an installation, service, and troubleshooting position. The right candidate will be comfortable working directly with customers, installing equipment and cabling, diagnosing service problems, and completing physical fieldwork throughout the day.

What We’re Looking For
Fiber-splicing experience is helpful, but it is not the primary focus of this position. Candidates must be willing and able to perform customer installations, service calls, troubleshooting, cabling, equipment configuration, and other day-to-day field responsibilities.
