Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop project scope statements. - Provide leadership of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) session to identify specific project deliverables and defining accountability per unit. - Ensure business requirements and tasks are identified to create a detailed MS Project schedule. - Manage the identified project deliverables for completion by ensuring accountability per participating unit. - Develop and monitor risk plans to ensure mitigation strategies are in place and being executed. - Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders. - Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures. - Monitor and facilitate the tracking and resolution of issues impacting the project. - Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: - Administer and oversee recurring operational activities and processes to ensure effective day-to-day execution. - Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement enhancements to existing processes. - Develop and implement strategies to support achievement of business goals and objectives. - Allocate and manage resources based on business priorities and project needs. - Evaluate and recommend changes to policies and procedures to improve operational effectiveness. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in related field. - 5-7 years of relevant professional experience Additional Skills and Qualifications: - At least 6 years of relevant professional experience. - Demonstrated experience leading and directing the work of cross-functional teams or staff. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in complex operational environments. - Demonstrated management or leadership experience, including accountability for outcomes. - Experience supporting operational strategy, resource planning, or business execution priorities. - Strong ability to foster teamwork and collaborate across organizational units. Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
