Job description
Job Title CT Technologist Job Summary Join a dedicated radiology team at a leading medical facility in Dallas, Texas. This role involves performing advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures on a diverse patient population, contributing essential diagnostic information for patient care. The successful candidate will operate state-of-the-art CT equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of CT examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders. Ensure optimal patient positioning, comfort, and safety during all procedures. Operate and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment effectively. Administer contrast media as required, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols. Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and any relevant observations. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Required Qualifications Active state license or accreditation as a Radiologic Technologist in Texas. ARRT (Computed Tomography) certification. Minimum of 1-2 years of recent, specialized experience as a CT Technologist. Preferred Qualifications Not specified. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in performing a wide range of CT imaging procedures. Strong understanding of CT physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and imaging protocols. Competence in administering contrast media and managing potential reactions. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities. Knowledge of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices.
