Pricing Analyst

As our Pricing Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping how Ecowaste Solutions prices its services analyzing market data, contract terms, and cost structures to help the business grow profitably. You'll partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to build pricing models, evaluate contract profitability, and support strategic pricing decisions across our residential, commercial, and municipal lines of business. This role requires at least 5 years of pricing, financial, or analytical experience, ideally within waste management, environmental services, or another asset-intensive, route-based industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain pricing models for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal waste service contracts
Analyze cost drivers labor, fuel, disposal/tipping fees, equipment to ensure pricing supports margin targets
Evaluate contract profitability and flag underperforming accounts for repricing or renegotiation
Partner with Sales and Operations to price new business, RFPs, and municipal bids
Monitor competitor pricing and market trends across service areas
Support annual price increase initiatives, including CPI, fuel, and environmental surcharge calculations
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track pricing performance and margin trends
Conduct ad hoc financial and pricing analysis to support leadership decision-making
Ensure pricing structures comply with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and company policy
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing analysis
Experience in waste management, environmental services, logistics, or another route-based, asset-intensive industry strongly preferred
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas
Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and familiarity with SQL, a plus
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations
Experience working with ERP, route, or billing systems is a plus
