When you join our team you will be utilizing your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with every step of the blood collection process. This includes collaborating with your team to transport and setup equipment at the collection sites in local communities, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for volunteer donors, and following all safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations that are delivered to hospitals.

Key responsibilities include personally connecting with donors, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming environment, being detail oriented, and driving Red Cross vehicles to setup and tear down equipment at donation sites.
Standard schedule (Toledo, Ohio): Staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is provided two to three weeks in advance and shift will be either Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday.
Pay information: Starting rate $17.74/hour.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, customer service experience, a current, valid driver's license with a good driving record, physical requirements, and basic computer skills.
Preferred qualifications include prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience, and prior leadership experience.
