Substation Service Manager

Acara Solutions is looking for a Substation Service Manager for one of our clients in Mesa, AZ. This role is primarily an office position. Off-site work at customer sites will be required causing exposure to extreme environment elements & conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow, etc. Reports to: Department Manager Department: Substation Service Target salary is approximately $150K , with flexibility up to $175K depending on experience. Summary/ Objective: The Substation Service Manager is responsible for delivering premium service levels to Reinhausen Inc. customers while being a resource for the sales team to adequately support the full product spectrum in their designated region, paying particular attention to strategic guidelines and business sustainability; and is particularly responsible for customer satisfaction in their region. This position oversees the company's Western United States service activities/functions - such as execution, quality control and assurance, product costs, workflow, purchasing, materials management, compliance and logistics. The SSM will ensure that all service operations fall within established budgets Essential Functions: * Strategic Task: o Collaborate and support the sales organization in defining substation service business strategy o Implementation of product and service innovations with relation to substation service market developments o Responsible for compliance with the necessary business processes including but not limited to: maintaining a five-year personnel plan, personnel training and certification, maintaining a five-year capital equipment plan, equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, calibration and scheduling, maintain a cost center yearly budget plan, budget adherence, maintaining the schedule for the region and order processing compliance. o Matching business forecast with adequate resources including manpower, equipment and competencies o Ensuring customer satisfaction in relation to executed service projects. o Participate in establishing frame contracts with strategically relevant customers * Operative Tasks: o Review of tender management and offer preparation for complex substation service projects o Leadership of the assigned employees o Close collaboration with and technical support of the Area Sales Managers o Selection of and negotiation with subcontractors o Assure Fleet safety and compliance program are functioning seamlessly. o P&L responsibilities for $6,000 to $15,000 per year Administrative Task: o Resource and personnel planning in connection with the transformer service business strategy o Securing offer preparation and follow up. o Compilation of periodic reports (, market and customer information, KPIs). o Assistance with sales and budget planning Special Task: o Assisting with and/or managing internal and intra-divisional projects About the Opportunity: Why You'll Love Working Here:*Supportive, team-driven culture that values collaboration, transparency, and accountability*Opportunity to grow your career with a global workforce solutions leader serving multiple industries*People-first environment that encourages employees to bring their authentic selves to work*Strong focus on partnership, innovation, and delivering meaningful results for clients and candidates Why This Opportunity is Exciting:This role offers the chance to join a company that prioritizes both people and performance-where your contributions directly impact client success while giving you room to grow and develop professionally.
