Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $, to $, per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting activities and ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.

• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and close processes to maintain accurate financial records.

• Analyze financial performance by monitoring revenue, expenses, labor costs, and key operational metrics.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations.

• Maintain effective internal controls, assist with audits, and drive process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within a healthcare environment.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Previous experience working with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and advanced Excel functions.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting leadership in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a controller or senior accounting leadership role.

• Professional certification and advanced education.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to various stakeholders.

• Prior experience supporting multi location operations and collaborating with cross functional teams.
