Job Summary:
In this role, you will assist in providing professional financial and economic support services. You will conduct complex research on finance and investments, assist in preparing and producing regulatory reports, ad hoc financial reports, speeches, charts, and studies. Your research, analysis, and organized methods will contribute to effective business decisions through precise financial data interpretation.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Timekeepers in performing project timekeeping and union craft payroll activities, including, but not limited to:
- Union Craft Professional onboarding, data entry and maintenance of employee information in project timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Project badging for all site personnel (including replacement badging, timeclock troubleshooting and maintenance, and gate watch).
- Maintenance of craft employee files to include scanning for records retention.
- Creation and distribution of daily/weekly reporting such as force report, attendance reports, etc.
- Daily/weekly timesheet reconciliation.
- Processing of requests for time off and daily call-ins for craft employees.
- Coordination of timekeeping interface with craft payroll processing team (BBS).
- Training and mentoring of Project Timekeepers. Scheduling overtime, shift coverage, etc.
- Interface with Construction, Labor Relations, and Project Accounting to resolve timekeeping and labor reporting issues.
- Close coordination with Labor Relations, Construction Supervision and Union Stewards.
- Ensure that project timekeeping and craft payroll activities are performed in accordance with company policy and union labor agreements.
- Provide payroll-related customer service to Craft Professionals.
- Any other related activities as assigned by the Project Finance and Accounting Manager.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends/holidays.
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service background.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently to identify and resolve routine problems.
