A growing and highly respected plaintiff-side law firm is seeking an ambitious Personal Injury Attorney with 3 5 years of experience to join its expanding litigation team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney licensed in both Virginia and Maryland who is ready to take ownership of a substantial caseload while receiving exceptional operational support that allows you to focus on practicing law.

The successful candidate will manage personal injury matters across both Virginia and Maryland, representing injured clients from case intake through settlement or trial. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation in both Virginia and Maryland.
• Conduct case evaluations, develop litigation strategies, and advise clients throughout the legal process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, legal memoranda, settlement demands, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Negotiate favorable settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court proceedings when necessary.
• Collaborate with litigation support staff, paralegals, case managers, and medical records specialists to ensure efficient case progression.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients while delivering exceptional service and legal representation.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the firm's personal injury practice.

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 3 5 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Active admission to both the Virginia and Maryland State Bars.
• Experience managing personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Strong deposition, motion practice, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
• Client-focused mindset with sound professional judgment and exceptional attention to detail.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and commitment to client advocacy.
