Marketing Manager Location: Shelton, CT (On-site)Position OverviewThe Innovative CPA Group is seeking a dynamic, creative Marketing Manager to lead integrated marketing for both our CPA firm and our Wealth Management practice. This role starts with the idea: developing campaign concepts, messaging, and design that resonate with high-net-worth clients, prospects, and referral partners and then bringing that idea to life across email, digital, direct, and event channels, using Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) as the execution engine.We are looking for a marketer first: someone with strong creative instincts and campaign planning ability who is also comfortable working hands-on inside Salesforce Account Engagement to build and launch what they design. This is not a Salesforce administrator or developer role.Please note before applying: Financial services marketing experience is required, specifically within wealth management or asset management (RIA, private bank, broker-dealer, asset manager, or similar). Experience marketing accounting or professional services (CPA, tax, advisory) is a strong plus.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative & Campaign StrategyConcept, design, and lead multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, digital, direct outreach, print, social) for both the CPA and Wealth Management practices owning creative direction from idea to finished asset, not just deployment.Develop messaging, positioning, and content tailored to high-net-worth clients, business owners, and referral sources.Translate business goals from firm leadership, partners, and advisors into compelling campaign concepts and creative briefs.Bring brand consistency and a polished, professional-services-appropriate design sensibility to every touchpoint.Marketing Automation - Hands-On ExecutionBuild and launch campaigns directly in Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot): forms, landing pages, email journeys, lead scoring/grading, and segmentation.Monitor campaign performance and turn results into clear recommendations {what to keep, kill, or test next}.Maintain clean, accurate marketing data in coordination with the firm's broader Data environment.Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus, but Account Engagement (Pardot) is the primary day-to-day tool for this role.Event Planning & ExecutionPlan and manage internal and external events for both the CPA and Wealth Management teams, including client seminars, networking events, and educational sessions.Own event creative from concept through execution - invitations, signage, presentations, and follow-up campaigns.Team LeadershipManage and mentor junior marketing staff or coordinators.Own project timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple concurrent campaigns.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with tax, audit, and advisory teams, as well as financial advisors, to support business development and growth goals.Align marketing efforts with firm growth initiatives and client acquisition strategies across both business lines.Qualifications5+ years of marketing experience, including required experience in financial services marketing - specifically wealth management or asset management.Experience marketing accounting or other professional services is a plus, not a requirement.Demonstrated ability to concept and design campaigns - please include a portfolio, work samples, or links to campaigns you created.Hands-on working experience in Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot); Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus.Strong creative and storytelling instincts - copywriting, campaign concepting, and visual/brand judgment.Proven experience planning and executing in-person and virtual events.Prior experience managing or mentoring staff.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to read campaign data and translate it into decisions.Excellent communication and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven, high-touch client environment.What You'll Love About UsCompetitive compensation, commensurate with experience401(k) plan with employer matchPaid health insurance for Employee, with dependent/spouse coverage at employee cost4 weeks of vacationOnsite gym membership (Shelton location)Great work environment
