Apprentice Plumber
Overview
We are hiring for several Apprentice Plumbers who hold an apprentice card in the state of Illinois or the city of Chicago. You will work under the supervision of a foreman or superintendent, primarily focusing on new build residential and commercial projects in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Sites are currently located in Plainfield, Naperville, Antioch, and Algonquin. Efforts will be made to assign you to locations close to your residence, but flexibility is required as this cannot always be guaranteed. Typically, you will be engaged in projects for weeks or months at a time. Responsibilities
- Work on new builds inside structures, running lines from the ground through the building to connect sinks, showers, and hose lines.
- Ensure all plumbing installations are completed according to specifications and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide your own wrenches and basic hand tools; special equipment will be provided by the company.
Essential Skills
- Experience in commercial or residential construction
- New build residential experience
- New build commercial experience
- Experience with PVC, pipe installation, and pipe fitting
- Inactive Apprentice Card within 3 years for easy sponsorship and reactivation
- Active Apprentice Card for Chicago will also be accepted

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
