Key Responsibilities

• Verify and fill orders for medications in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information to clinical staff
• Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
• Document all clinical interactions for medical review
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
• Apply age-specific awareness when working with pediatric and neonatal patient populations

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice
• All licensures and certifications required to fulfill Pharmacist duties at the state level
• Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years, with current Epic experience required
• Must pass IV training
• Each work history entry must indicate the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used in one role, dates clarifying usage of each system must be provided

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• One or more years of technical pharmacy experience
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
• Familiarity or competence with pediatric and neonatal age groups
