Software Applications Developer II

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications, interfaces, and reports.
• Support application upgrades, patches, migrations, and system improvements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, test, deploy, and support application enhancements and integrations.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure reliable system performance.
• Manage support requests, enhancement priorities, and change implementations.
• Contribute to application testing, deployment, and support best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of application development experience using C#, .NET, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
• At least 1 year of hands-on SQL development experience.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to new technologies.
• Willingness to provide support for critical production issues when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, Cognos, or similar platforms.
