Our client is looking for a Solution Architect project in Alpharetta, GA. Below are the detailed requirements.

Job Title: Solution Architect
Location: Alpharetta, GA

Required Skills: Azure Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, Python, SQL, and Apache Spark


Job description:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Design and implement end-to-end enterprise data architecture using Azure Cloud, Snowflake, and Databricks to support scalable analytics and data platforms.
  • Architect and develop Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.
  • Build and maintain scalable batch and near-real-time ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
  • Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and curated data models for reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through warehouse sizing, query tuning, schema design, and role-based security implementation.
  • Develop and manage Databricks solutions leveraging Delta Lake, Workflows, Notebook Orchestration, and Unity Catalog.
  • Implement data governance, monitoring, alerting, data quality frameworks, and operational best practices across enterprise data platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, analytics teams, and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership by mentoring development teams, conducting architecture reviews, and enforcing engineering best practices
  • Utilize Azure services including ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL/Synapse, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Azure Monitor while supporting cloud-native, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
