The Student Conservation Association provides an array of corps and crew programming across the country. The Alabama Conservation Corps (ALCC) provides hands-on training in conservation work skills and leadership to program participants in partnership with state, municipal, and nonprofit partners. The program operates as an AmeriCorps program, allowing crew members to dedicate a term of service while gaining experience in the field. The Program Coordinator position is a 9-month position that ensures the technical, logistical, and administrative tasks associated with executing SCA's various programs in the ALCC portfolio are completed. This person ensures Corps Members and Project Leaders are equipped for program delivery and comply with curriculum and AmeriCorps mandates, safety controls, logistical service/program delivery needs, and mandatory internal record-keeping. This position reports to the Program Manager-AL and has multiple direct reports at various levels of responsibility and locations throughout Alabama.
