Activities Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals at Meadow Falls of Bath. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, while promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities, programs, and events for our residents, including arts and crafts, music, exercise classes, and social gatherings
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement program schedules and goals
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities, fostering a sense of community and social connection
• Assist with setup, preparation, and cleanup of activities and events
• Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and vendors to support activity programming
• Maintain accurate records of activity participation, attendance, and resident feedback
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with residents and staff
