Our client, a leading telecommunications company in Stamford, CT, is seeking a Project Manager to support large-scale business merger on an initial 6 month contract with high likelihood of extension to 18+ months. This individual will work 4 days onsite, one day remote, and will help manage and deploy technical and operational programs supporting Day 0 requirements, major launch-readiness milestones, and ongoing post-conversion initiatives.
The Project Manager will manage the full project lifecycle from definition through implementation, developing project plans, driving milestones, managing dependencies, and ensuring initiatives remain aligned with scope, cost, schedule, and quality expectations. Responsibilities include leading project meetings and ad hoc working sessions, providing day-to-day direction to project resources, coordinating change-management activities, and maintaining Jira updates, meeting minutes, status reports, budgets, action items, and decision tracking. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing hands-on project execution with extensive documentation, reporting, stakeholder follow-up, and administrative coordination.
