We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep hotel operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and able to build strong relationships with vendors and internal departments. What You'll Do
As the Purchasing Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day purchasing operations by maintaining inventory levels, coordinating product deliveries, and ensuring departments receive the supplies they need on time. You will prepare and process purchase orders through Avendra, verify invoices for pricing and accuracy, assign general ledger coding by collaborating with department managers and Accounts Payable, and maintain accurate inventory records.
You'll work closely with vendors to monitor product quality and delivery schedules while partnering with the Purchasing Manager and Receiving team to resolve late deliveries or supply issues. In addition, you'll assist with stocking and organizing storerooms, deliver products to departments as needed, and provide purchasing support across hotel operations to ensure seamless service.
