Summary:
-
Performs complete part inspections on customer orders to determine FAA approval type and part application.
-
Verifies product conformance requirements through physical product inspections and documentation validation.

Validates FAA Type Approval code for customer product and completes 8130-3 and non-regulatory documentation (ATA 106).

Segregates and controls all non-conforming items per quality procedures.

Scans product to inspector’s line for product inspection and order verification.
-
Enters information in SAP and scans material in and out of QA for tracking.

Completes verification compliant to Customer flow down requirements for order fulfillment.
-
Routes work according to weight requirement and re-directs if necessary for inspection flow.

Works in other QA areas as directed by QA Leadership for cross-functional quality support.
Requirements:
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
-
4+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry.

4+ years of experience using SAP for inspection and documentation entry.
-
4+ years of experience in quality inspection processes.

Lift requirement of 35 lbs is required for this position.

Preferred: 2+ years of experience working in a cross-functional work environment.

Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception tests.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Ability to handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material.

Ability to ascend and descend vertical work ladders and work in confined spaces.
