About the Role:
Merlin Technologies in Camarillo, CA is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Insurance Verifier to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients or clients using online portals and phone-based inquiries
  • Accurately scan, index, and manage documents within electronic document management systems
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, clients, and internal team members
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in insurance information or documentation
  • Support administrative staff with data entry and clerical tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer-facing interactions
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment
  • Prior experience in insurance verification, medical billing, or customer service is a plus but not required
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
