PrideStaff has partnered with a growing, specialized industrial distributor in the Fort Lauderdale area to find a dynamic, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor. Because this is currently an agile, fast-paced team, the ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, willing to roll up their sleeves, and deeply involved in daily floor operations. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a scaling company that offers genuine career growth.
Floor Leadership: Provide hands-on handling of incoming and outgoing orders; coordinate and optimize all inbound and outbound shipping logistics.
Facility & Inventory Control: Organize warehouse layout, streamline daily workflows, and oversee precise inventory tracking.
Quality Assurance: Perform visual quality-control inspections and precise labeling for specialized industrial products.
Team Development: Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and managing new warehouse staff as the operation scales.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
Experience: 2–4+ years of proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution.
Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in an "all hands on deck" environment.
Language: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to effectively lead the team.
Certifications: Active Forklift and/or Hazmat certifications.
Tech Savvy: Experience utilizing specialized inventory management software or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
QA Familiarity: Prior experience with specialized product quality control (the company is fully willing to train on our specific product lines).
Training Availability: Must be able to attend a mandatory 2-week paid, out-of-state training period prior to the official start date.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
