Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a high energy, employee focused, hands-on bilingual Human Resources Manager to join our team located in Tulsa, OK. Successful candidates will be dependable, approachable, capable of handling a broad range of HR responsibilities with minimal supervision, and fluent in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities include managing employee life-cycle processes (onboarding through offboarding), assisting employees with benefit-related questions, managing employee relations including investigations, progressive discipline, performance management and conflict resolution, helping develop and implement HR policies and procedures, coordinating with safety personnel regarding workers' compensation and leave administration, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, supporting training and employee development initiatives, and mentoring and training HR Assistants and junior personnel as appropriate.
Qualifications and competencies include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, at least five (5) years of HR experience demonstrating a progression of responsibility is required; manufacturing, industrial, and/or multi-location experience highly preferred, comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; HR Certification is advantageous, professional communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and organizational skills, computer proficiency using MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally, and experience with Safety and/or Worker's Compensation claim management is preferred.
