Job description

Multicraft Maintenance Technician needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots equipment issue
  • Acts as liaison between company and OEM maintenance support
  • Installs and maintains machine tool equipment
  • Installs and maintains utility related piping, wiring and control
  • Controls maintenance owned tools, tester, etc. and keeps maintenance area clean at all times (5S!)
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities and documents per required systems
  • Support Continuous improvement activities
  • Promotes and ensures facility safety and security
  • Generate and maintain effective documentation for processes, procedures and training purposes.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associates or Technical Degree preferably in a technical field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 Years of work experience in a similar industrial or maintenance related field
  • Ability to manage and prioritize time effectively
  • Ability to problem-solve advanced electrical controls . Siemens 840d Multi axis drive controls, Profibus, DIN Schematic
  • Ability to problem-solve advanced mechanical controls . geometrical alignments, Hydraulics, Pneumatics
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, Piping, Communications, and electrical.
  • Fabrication, assembly, disassembly

Language Skills

  • Ability to write professionally for multiple outlets that conform to prescribed style and format
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio)

Preferred Experience

  • 5 years: Ability to problem-solve advanced mechanical controls . geometrical alignments, Hydraulics, Pneumatics

  • 5 years: Ability to problem solve advanced electrical controls (. Siemens 840d Multi axis drive controls, Profibus, DIN Schematic)

  • 5 years: Work experience in similar industrial or maintenance related field

Pay Rate = $ 50,000 -$70,000 DOE
