Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some prior experience is a resort, club, or hospitality industry setting.

Job Summary (Essential Functions)
This position is responsible for greeting members and guests as they approach the dining area.
This position requires and neat and polished appearance, and an open, welcoming personality.
The host/hostess seats and presents clean menus to members/guests in a friendly, professional and quick manner.
Learns the menu items and maintains knowledge of any specials being offered.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized and un-stressed in busy times.
Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be reliable to show up for scheduled shifts, be on time, follow company policy and procedures.
Attire required is business casual and make-up hair, nails are to be conservative.
Job Tasks/Duties:
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Stands during entire shift.
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs.
Verbally communicates with guests and phone callers.
Must be able to read, write and determine wait time based on NHYC procedures.
Must be able to visually scan restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables.
This position requires frequent washing of hands.
Moderate noise level in a restaurant environment.
