Job Overview
BTC Connect is seeking a meticulous and highly organised Data Entry professional to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Middletown, New York, United States. As a key member of our administrative department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's data, which is vital to our operational success. We are looking for a reliable individual with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality. The offered wage for this role is between $15 and $25 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
* Accurately input, update, and maintain large volumes of data in our company databases and computer systems.
* Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output for accuracy.
* Conduct regular data verification and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of data integrity.
* Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data security.
* Scan documents and print files as needed, maintaining an organised and efficient filing system.
* Uphold strict confidentiality and data protection policies at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and support various departments with their data needs.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Typist, or in a similar administrative role.
* Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
* Familiarity with standard office equipment and administrative duties.
* Superb organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* High school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications or certifications are a plus.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst also being a supportive team player.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
