Senior Accounting Analyst
This position will be expected to perform a variety financial analysis and cost accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budgets and partner with operations department managers to ensure budgets and forecasts are achieved
- Assist in preparation of monthly forecasts
- Participate in month-end closing duties, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, analyzing key accounts and reporting results to the financial reporting group
- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place and perform tests to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Provide pertinent financial / accounting data to management on a monthly basis
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation based on performance of interim inventories, factor reviews, and assistance in planning and executing a bi-annual physical inventory
- Participate with special projects as required
No travel is to be expected with this role.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Required.
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting Required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP, Manufacturing Accounting.
- CPA Certified.
- Public accounting and/or Cost Accounting experience.
