Job description

Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to join Providence Health in Portland, Oregon. This is an outstanding opportunity for both experienced imaging professionals and recent graduates looking to launch their careers in diagnostic imaging. In this role, you will perform high-quality radiographic procedures that support accurate diagnoses while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.

Working alongside radiologists, physicians, and a collaborative clinical team, you'll utilize advanced imaging technology to deliver timely diagnostic services that positively impact patient outcomes. Offering a competitive salary of $77,000 – $119,000 annually, this full-time position provides an excellent opportunity to build your career with one of the region's premier healthcare organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Education that meets certification, licensure, or registration requirements for Radiologic Technology.
  • Active Oregon Radiographer License upon hire or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification within 180 days of hire.
  • New graduates must possess an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Temporary License and obtain a permanent Oregon Radiographer License within 180 days of hire.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and imaging quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous clinical experience in radiology through employment or clinical rotations.
  • Experience working with digital radiography equipment and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and quality assurance practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare environment.
