Description
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School (Santa Barbara) seeks an energetic, part-time instructional aide for second grade. The aide will work under the direct guidance of and in support of the classroom teacher. Responsibilities will include assisting students individually and in small groups, leading small reading and math group stations, supervising students during activities, assisting teacher with classroom management, and conducting yard duty.

Requirements
• Practicing Catholic
• High school diploma, Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working with children
• Team player willing to collaborate with faculty and staff members
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
