It’s early, the bay doors roll up, and you power on your laptop loaded with JPRO and OEM Diagnostic Software. A tractor-trailer rolls in for a PM; you run electrical checks with your multimeter, take a quick look at fault codes, and get to work. By midday, you’ve completed a DOT inspection per FMCSA guidelines, knocked out a repair on a trailer ABS issue, and logged accurate notes. You wrap with a safety huddle—tools stowed, uniform clean, fleet ready. That’s a day as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Systems Technician at NFI.
