Radiologic Technologist Manager

Location: UCHealth Anschutz Outpt Pavilion Aurora, CO

Department: Radiology Cat Scan

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $47.57 - $76.11 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary: Manages the department's daily operations to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous quality improvement. May provide patient care when necessary.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist (R)
• ARRT registered in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree.
• Prior CT supervisory or lead technologist experience
• Experience supporting ACR CT accreditation and regulatory inspections
• Advanced modality experience (e.g., PET/CT, trauma CT, ED CT)
• Minimum 5 years of CT clinical experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead technologist experience in CT or imaging services

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging practices, radiation safety, and regulatory standards
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and change-management skills
• Ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into action
• Effective collaboration with physicians, leaders, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
