Aflac Inc., a leading provider of supplemental health and life insurance, is seeking a highly organised and professional individual for the role of Administrative/Receptionist Support. This is a Full-Time position based at our office in United, Pennsylvania, United States. The successful candidate will be the face of our company, providing a welcoming experience for clients and visitors while delivering essential administrative support to ensure our office operates efficiently. This role is integral to upholding our reputation for outstanding customer service and support. The offered compensation for this position is $18.00 - $28.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
As an Administrative/Receptionist Support professional, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to support our team and clients. Your key duties will include:
• Greeting clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude and directing them appropriately.
• Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
• Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other correspondence.
• Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for our team.
• Performing basic clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Maintaining an inventory of office supplies and coordinating orders to ensure resources are available.
• Ensuring the reception area is kept tidy and presentable, reflecting our company's professional standards.
• Providing general administrative assistance to colleagues and supporting various projects as needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the right blend of experience, skills, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Proven experience in a receptionist, front office, or administrative assistant role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• A professional and courteous demeanour with a strong customer service focus.
• The ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in office administration are a plus.
