Estamos buscando contratar a un Instalador de Tuberías (Pipelayer) con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo. El Pipelayer/Topman es responsable de instalar o asistir en la instalación de tuberías para asegurar una productividad óptima, el cumplimiento de los estándares de construcción y las normas de seguridad. El Pipelayer ayudará con el trazado, ensamblaje e instalación de sistemas de agua potable, pluvial y sanitario de distintos tamaños y tipos.
Responsabilidades:
Establecer niveles y elevaciones correctas, por ejemplo: línea de flujo (flowline), vara de nivel (grade stick) y línea de hilo (string line).
Verificar pendientes conforme a las elevaciones de nivelación, utilizando niveles o láser.
Conectar campana y espiga en tuberías de agua y alcantarillado.
Cubrir las tuberías con material agregado y material nativo, y compactar.
Excavar manualmente huecos de campana para verificar ubicaciones de servicios existentes.
Nivelar y preparar la base de zanjas utilizando compactadoras y herramientas manuales.
Instalar y reparar estructuras y sistemas de tuberías de agua, pluvial y sanitario dentro de sistemas de entibado de zanjas.
Trazar rutas de tuberías siguiendo instrucciones escritas o planos, y coordinar con supervisores.
Asegurar el cumplimiento de todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad para prevenir actos y condiciones inseguras.
Capacidad para seguir instrucciones del Capataz (Foreman) y apoyar al equipo.
Trabajar de forma segura cumpliendo con los requisitos de HSS y las regulaciones de OSHA.
Mantener puntualidad, responsabilidad y confiabilidad en el trabajo.
Conocimientos, habilidades y aptitudes:
Conocimiento general de trabajos de servicios subterráneos, incluyendo materiales, métodos y herramientas de instalación.
Historial comprobado de realizar tareas similares de forma segura y precisa.
Capacidad para levantar y cargar repetidamente al menos 60 libras de manera constante.
Flexibilidad para trabajar algunos sábados.
Comodidad trabajando en ambientes de alta presión y con cambios extremos de clima.
Alto nivel de automotivación y fuerte ética laboral.
Atención al detalle.
Mantener y promover un ambiente de trabajo seguro.
Ser flexible, confiable y comunicarse eficazmente con el equipo.
Educación y Experiencia:
Educación: Diploma de preparatoria o GED.
Experiencia: Se prefiere mínimo un año de experiencia.
