Inventory Controller

Description

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Inventory Controller to maintain accurate inventory records and support daily inventory control activities within warehouse operations. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for performing cycle counts, verifying inventory locations, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring materials are properly identified and recorded within the inventory management system.

The Inventory Controller will work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support efficient material movement, and assist with daily inventory responsibilities. This position will also serve as a backup to the Inventory Lead as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and random cycle counts to verify physical inventory against system records.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes of inventory variances.
• Verify inventory quantities, item identification, and bin locations to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain accurate bin locations and ensure materials are stored in the correct designated areas.
• Complete bin location binding, transfers, and updates within the inventory management system.
• Research and resolve inventory accuracy issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory adjustments and ensure required documentation is completed accurately.
• Support physical inventory counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Monitor inventory movement and identify potential inventory or location accuracy concerns.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and location concerns to the Inventory Lead and appropriate team members.
• Work with warehouse personnel to correct inventory and material location issues.
• Support warehouse processes and continuous improvement activities focused on inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Serve as backup to the Inventory Lead when needed, including assisting with daily priorities, inventory activities, and team coordination.
Follow all company safety, quality, warehouse, and inventory control procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, or a related environment preferred.
• Experience performing cycle counts, physical inventory, or inventory reconciliation preferred.
• Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or other inventory management software preferred.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and follow inventory issues through resolution.
• Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse, inventory, and operations personnel.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely handle and move inventory as required.
• Ability to use ladders, lifts, or other warehouse equipment when properly trained and authorized.
