Position is responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and coaching instruction.
In-depth knowledge and advanced strategies of applicable sport. Knowledge of VHSL rules. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to mentor and develop players in a positive way. Desire to teach and improve skill development. Must pass criminal record check.
Required: Previous experience as a player and/or coaching at any level. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
Work Schedule: Winter Season Pay Grade: 6 Salary Scale: Activities Stipend List
Requires moderate physical activity. Requires standing and/or walking for extended periods of time. Work is regularly performed outside. Potential for exposure to; adverse weather conditions, exposure to blood-borne pathogens and communicable diseases, possible interactions with disruptive and/or unruly individuals. Work may involve exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and loud noise. Involves minimum exposure to physical risk while operating field maintenance equipment.
