Responsibilities
What You'll Do as a Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development
As a Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development at North Coast Holdings, you'll play a critical role in executing strategic growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, enterprise-wide transformation projects, and operational improvements. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Strategy, you'll combine analytical rigor, financial modeling, and strong project management to help turn strategic priorities into measurable results.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform the organization's strategic direction and evaluate potential impact.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments, then develop recommendations supported by data and business insights.
Translate strategic priorities into actionable workstreams, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
Monitor progress against strategic initiatives and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
Facilitate strategic planning sessions and leadership workshops.
Mergers & Acquisitions
Build complex financial models to evaluate potential M&A opportunities, including financial statement forecasts, valuation analyses, and scenario assessments.
Develop investment materials, executive presentations, and Board materials.
Support due diligence by coordinating cross-functional workstreams and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
Evaluate inorganic growth opportunities, assess new markets, and support the full M&A life cycle.
Integration Management
Establish integration project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and governance structures.
Coordinate acquisition integration workstreams, dashboards, and action plans to monitor post-acquisition activities and synergy realization.
Facilitate recurring integration meetings with leadership teams.
Track integration decisions, milestones, risks, and issue resolution.
Project & Change Management
Manage multiple enterprise strategic projects simultaneously and drive accountability across stakeholders.
Deploy change management strategies to support organizational adoption.
Promote best practices in project execution and continuous improvement.
Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to keep initiatives aligned, on time, and within scope.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or another quantitative discipline.
710 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, transaction advisory, strategic finance, FP&A, management consulting, corporate strategy, or enterprise project management.
Exceptional Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
Strong financial and operational analysis, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.
Executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to integrity.
Preferred:
MBA, CFA, or relevant master's degree.
Experience supporting the full M&A life cycle, from prospecting through integration.
Experience with project management software such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft Project, or a similar platform.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or a similar platform.
