Job Summary The Material Handler participates with a positive attitude while working with fellow team members to ensure plant orderliness, cleanliness and safety. Job Responsibilities * Listen and follow the direction of the plant supervisors * Work along side team leads to have up to date information of jobs needing prepared * Follow work order instructions carefully as to proper part numbers, quantities and percentages required in bill of materials for each job * Off load material arriving from vendors * Ensure materials are available and ready, to reduce start up time * Ensure yard is organized and free of obstructions * Verify material type, thickness, and size * Other duties as assigned Job Requirements * Good reading and writing skills essential * Good communication skills essential * Good mathematical skills essential * Previous forklift experience essential * Ability to read a tape measure, calipers a plus * Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Compensation * The hourly pay rate is $21/hr * 401(k) plan / group retirement savings program * Short-term and long-term disability benefits * Life insurance * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off * Paid holidays What CRH Offers You * Highly competitive base pay * Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs * Group retirement savings program * Health and wellness programs * An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
