Job descriptionWe have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a PLM Systems Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Denver, CO surrounding area. Pay Rate: $43.26 - 62.50 **US Citizenship is required.** The PLM Systems Engineer is responsible for technical configuration, customization, and integration of our enterprise Teamcenter PLM environment. This role translates business requirements into technical solutions, develops workflow extensions, implements system integrations, and maintains the configured environment for users. The ideal candidate combines deep Teamcenter technical expertise with strong programming skills, integration experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. Hands-on experience with in-house tools is a must. Responsibilities : System Configuration & Customization Design and implement Teamcenter configuration: attributes, Lists of Values (LOVs), object types, relations, and item revisions Develop and maintain workflow extensions using ITK (Integration Toolkit), SOA services, and Active Workspace customizations Configure EBOM/MBOM structures and BOM management processes Implement COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) part configuration and lifecycle management Develop query builders, saved queries, and custom filters for user productivity Configure organizational structure, access control, and security policies System health tool development and maintenance CAD/Simulation Tool Support & Integration Serve as first line support for CAD & PLM users Develop and maintain CAD integration templates for NX and SolidWorks Configure simulation tool templates (Simcenter, FEMAP/NASTRAN) Implement CAD data migration strategies (SolidWorks to NX harmonization) Design, extend, and maintain workflows and new part number generation processes Troubleshoot CAD/PLM integration issues Optimize CAD data loading and visualization performance Integration Implementation Develop internal Teamcenter connectors and APIs Implement integrations with ERP (NetSuite), ECAD (Altium), and other enterprise systems Build REST APIs and web services for system-to-system communication Document data flow mappings and integration architectures Provide API support for internal development teams Coordinate with external integration vendors Reporting & Analytics Develop custom reports and dashboards for users and administrators Implement business intelligence queries and data extracts Build metrics and KPIs for PLM system usage and effectiveness Basic Hiring Criteria : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field Minimum 5 years of Teamcenter configuration and customization Expert-level Teamcenter administration and configuration (BMIDE & System health management is a must-have) Strong programming skills in one or more: Java, JavaScript, Python, C++ Hands-on experience with Teamcenter ITK (Integration Toolkit) Experience with Teamcenter SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) services Working knowledge of Active Workspace framework and customization Understanding of CAD/PLM integration architectures Experience with REST APIs, web services, and integration patterns Proficiency with SQL for data queries and manipulation Familiarity with XML, JSON, and data transformation Deep understanding of EBOM/MBOM concepts and BOM management Knowledge of engineering change management processes (ECR/ECO/ECN) Understanding of product lifecycle phases and release processes Familiarity with configuration management principles Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills with ability to translate business requirements to technical solutions Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders Self-directed with ability to manage multiple projects Detail-oriented with strong testing and validation discipline Desired Qualifications : Experience with Siemens Teamcenter (25xx) & Active Workspace 5.x or later Background in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing industries Experience with NX - must have, SolidWorks, or Creo CAD integration Familiarity with ERP & MES systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, E3, etc.) Knowledge of ECAD tools and integrations (Altium, Mentor, Cadence, ODBC connectors) Experience with Agile development methodologies Siemens Teamcenter certification (Siemens Teamcenter Technical Practitioner, Genesis or Inceptor training) Understanding of PLM best practices and industry standards Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control, automated testing) Benefits offered to vary by the contract.
