What You’ll Do
  • Provide diagnostic assessments and pharmacological treatments for mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication management and therapy
  • Order laboratory tests and review results to inform treatment decisions
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes thoroughly and accurately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and families about medication use and mental health management
  • Support quality and safety standards in accordance with organizational policies
What You Need
Required:
  • Licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Iowa
  • Certification as a Clinical Specialist/NP by ANCC or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience
  • Strong knowledge of mental health assessments and psychotropic medications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Knowledge of involuntary hospitalization laws and managed care concepts
