Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Warehouse / Material Coordinator in the Salt Lake City, UT area. The Warehouse position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.Essential Qualifications:NO PER DIEM, ideal for local candidatesProficient in SAP Materials Management2-5 years experience in an industrial warehouseForklift Experience - Valid Driver's License REQUIREDInsure stock is organized and stock levels are maintainedReceive deliveries, update SAP, stage materials ahead of planned and nonplanned maintenance activitiesAbility to pass all required Safety Council Courses401K immediately vested, Benefits after 60, Holidays after 90, Vacation after 1 year Functional Requirements:Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift; supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products by use of conveyors, cranes, hoists, or industrial trucks, applying knowledge of plant layout and material-handling equipment and procedures; studies receiving or shipping notices, requests for movement of raw materials and finished products, and reports of warehousing space available to develop schedule for material handling activities; may confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products; may verify or prepare records, such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders; maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.Qualification Standards:Preferably one (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skillBasic computer skills preferredPre-employment qualification test if applicablePost-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluationHazard Communication orientation/testComputer literacy - Google WorkspaceCommunication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skillsForklift operation experience, preferredJob site orientationJob site "Personal Protective Equipment" requirements (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.)Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place CompensationFinal agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
