Associate Attorney

Midlevel Associate – Fully remote

I am working with the leadership of a well-established, multi-state civil liability and insurance defense firm that is seeking a midlevel associate attorney to join its transportation and trucking defense practice. This is a fully remote role focused on New Mexico matters, offering sophisticated insurance defense work for commercial fleets and motor carriers, with real responsibility and long-term growth potential.

The salary for this role is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses.

What You’ll Do

• Defend transportation and trucking clients in New Mexico, including commercial auto and motor carrier claims.

• Handle pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case strategy in complex civil disputes.

• Collaborate with a multi-state defense team while maintaining primary responsibility for New Mexico files.

What We Need

• 2–9 years of civil litigation experience, ideally in transportation, trucking, or insurance defense.

• Strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.

• Active New Mexico license in good standing, or eligibility for New Mexico admission by transferred UBE score.

• Ability to succeed in a fully remote environment with clear, timely communication.
