Job description
Business Analyst
We are seeking a Business Analyst for a contract role. The ideal candidate will produce, distribute, and manage technical project-related information, analyze business needs, and construct decision-support-based applications. This position involves assisting business and technical professionals in assessing various business areas and processes and ascertaining business area readiness for change.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, distribute, and manage technical project related information.
- Analyze needs and construct and implement decision-support based applications.
- Assist business and technical professionals in the analysis and assessment of a variety of business areas and processes.
- Ascertain business area readiness for change to new business processes and identifies appropriate implementation measures.
- Develop project team emails to update the team regarding changes, new processes, collaborate, and prepare for requirements discovery sessions.
- Conduct user story documentation with stakeholders and department executive staff.
- Act as a liaison between teams for application integrations, enhancements, and development using ITIL process.
- Work requires contact with developers, information systems analysts, end users, and department executives.
- Compose correspondence and technical documents.
- Maintain communication with team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4-7 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
Technical Skills: Must have general experience creating user stories. Some technical writing experience is ideal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps for creating user stories.
