Primary Accountability: Lead and manage engineering operations across a designated regional portfolio, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and client satisfaction while driving operational excellence and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Support day-to-day engineering operations across multiple properties in the region
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures
- Monitor and optimize energy management systems and sustainability initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and business continuity planning
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor engineering staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities
- Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
- Manage staffing levels and resource allocation across the regional portfolio
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as primary engineering contact for clients and property management teams
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise and recommendations
- Respond to and resolve complex engineering issues and tenant concerns
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
Financial Management
- Develop and manage regional engineering budgets and capital expenditure plans
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
- Prepare financial reports and variance analysis
Technical Expertise
- Provide technical guidance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems
- Oversee major capital projects and system upgrades
- Conduct building assessments and recommend improvements
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all work meets JLL standards and client requirements
- Conduct regular property inspections and audits
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems
- Implement and monitor safety protocols and training programs
Key Performance Indicators
- Client satisfaction scores and retention rates
- Energy efficiency and sustainability metrics
- Budget adherence and cost management
- Team performance and retention
- Compliance and safety record
- Response time to critical issues

Estimated compensation for this position:
140,000.00 180,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
