About the Job:


As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth for our manufactured products. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide product solutions, prepare quotations, and support the sales process from initial contact through order completion. You will also collaborate with production, accounting, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of products. The ideal candidate has extensive sales experience, understands how to successfully sell manufactured or industrial products, and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts.
• Promote and sell the company's manufactured products to new and existing customers.
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs and providing effective product solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales while maintaining profitability.
• Identify new markets and sales opportunities to support company growth.
• Collaborate with production, accounting, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
• Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred; minimum of 10 years of proven sales experience required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated success selling manufactured or industrial products is required.
• Experience selling industrial, mechanical, electrical, engineered, fabricated, or custom-manufactured products is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the value of manufactured products.
• Proven ability to develop new business and consistently achieve sales goals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Sage 50 or similar accounting/business management software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
