Job Description Job Title Per Diem Staff Pharmacist Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves administering influenza vaccinations at various onsite flu shot clinics for local businesses and community events. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, event-based environment, providing essential public health services directly to the community. As a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for traveling to designated client locations, setting up clinic stations, screening patients, administering vaccinations, and ensuring meticulous documentation. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to community wellness through direct patient care in a non-traditional pharmacy setting. Key Responsibilities Administer influenza vaccinations to individuals at various corporate and community onsite clinics. Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and administration protocols are followed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all vaccinations administered, including patient information and vaccine lot numbers, utilizing Epic functionality. Provide patient education regarding vaccine benefits, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to immunization services. Travel to various business locations within the Cleveland, Ohio area. Set up and break down clinic stations as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP) degree. Active Registered Pharmacist (RPH) license in the State of Ohio. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Immunization Delivery Certification. Preferred Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree. Prior experience administering flu shots or other immunizations. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in administering intramuscular injections. Strong clinical assessment skills for patient screening prior to vaccination. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and education. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in various onsite settings. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically Epic functionality. Ability to stand and sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with setting up and administering vaccinations. Attention to detail for accurate documentation and adherence to protocols. Shift Details Shift Type: Per Diem (PRN), highly flexible and event-based. Shift Duration: Typically 2-7 hours per event, with potential for shifts up to 8 hours based on clinic needs. Days per Week: Variable, generally 1-2 days per week depending on clinic schedule and business demand. There are no guaranteed hours or days. Call Requirements: Not specified. Weekend Rotations: Not specified. Assignment Length: This is an 8-week assignment, commencing September 24, 2026. Licensing Requirements Active Registered Pharmacist (RPH) license in the State of Ohio. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Immunization Delivery Certification.
